Ingredients
- 8 tough thigh steaks
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 1 sliced onion
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- ½ cup of white wine
- 100 grams of chopped bacon
- 1 grated carrot
- 1 grated onion
- Salt to taste
Filling preparation method
- In a bowl, mix the bacon, carrot, onion and salt.
- Season the steaks with little salt.
- On each steak, spread a layer of filling.
- Roll up each steak like a roulade and secure with one or two toothpicks.
- In a pressure cooker, over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of oil and fry them until golden.
- Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the rest of the oil and fry the onion and garlic.
- Return the steaks to the pan, add the tomato sauce and white wine.
- Cover and cook over low heat for approximately 25 minutes, after pressure starts.
- Turn it off, wait for the pressure to release naturally and let it cool.
Mom’s tips
Each steak should weigh 100 grams on average.
You can use soft thigh or type of meat of your choice. With softer meat, cooking time decreases.
A can of tomato sauce weighs 340 grams.
Serve with white rice, beans, mashed potatoes and salad of your choice.
