In less than half an hour, you’ll have a delicious side dish for your next meal.
Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower in florets
- Salt to taste
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 seedless tomatoes, diced
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, sliced
- ½ cup (tea) of grated mozzarella cheese
- Black pepper to taste
- Oregano to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil to taste
Preparation Mode
- Cook the cauliflower in boiling salted water until tender. al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and brown the garlic.
- Add the onion and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Season with oregano, salt, pepper and add the tomato.
- Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the tomatoes break down.
- Add the cauliflower, cover and cook for 3 minutes.
- Spread the mozzarella and basil on top.
- Cover and cook for 2 minutes or until cheese melts.
- Remove from the pan, transfer to a baking dish and serve.
Mom’s Tips
Also, try replacing the cabbage with broccoli another time.
