Soccer player died after falling from the 25th floor while trying to make a video: brother recorded it all

Carol Oliveira was a futsal player, a member of the Tijucas Center, and died last Sunday after falling from the heliport of a building located in Balneário Camboriú, in Brazil.

The fatal accident occurred when the 22-year-old girl, who was trying to record a video, lost her balance and fell from the 25th floor of the building, a height of about 90 meters. So I informed the Municipal Guard of Balneário Camboriú.

The player’s brother, who was accompanying her at that moment, ended up recording what happened. The video helped the authorities confirm that it was an accident, ruling out any other possibility.

Family, friends and colleagues of Carol Oliveira mourned her early departure.

“With deep regret, the Women’s Soccer Center regrets the early departure of the athlete Carolaine. Carol defended the Center’s colors in the Tijucas Women’s Futsal Championship in 2024 and contributed a lot with her talent, courage and sports spirit. It will never be forgotten. From the club we wish in this sad moment of mourning that God accompany and comfort the hearts of his family and loved ones,” reads a statement from the organization.

For her part, Angélica Solidade, Carol Oliveira’s coach, highlighted the soccer player’s qualities: “I never heard anyone complain about her. She was loved by everyone, from teammates to children she transported on the bus.”

Carol Oliveira’s loved ones have gathered to say goodbye, full of mourning and pain for the absurd accident that claimed the life of a talented player.
