A mouth-watering aperitif to be enjoyed with friends. Hmmmm!
Ingredients
- 3 slices of pepperoni sausage, sliced
- 3 sliced onions
- ¼ cup (tea) of cachaça
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- Black pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- Heat a large frying pan with half the oil over medium heat.
- Saute the pepperoni, stirring for 10 minutes or until golden. Set aside on a plate.
- Add the rest of the oil to the frying pan and fry the onion over low heat until golden.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add the pepperoni and keep warm over low heat.
- Add the cachaça and sauté until it evaporates.
- Transfer to a platter and serve.
Mom Tips
Yields 4 servings.
Serve sprinkled with chopped chives and lemon wedges.
