Prepare a delicious meal! How about a steak that is enhanced and very easy to make?!
Ingredients
- 6 sirloin or rump steaks
- 1 can of drained mixed vegetables
- 1 can of drained sweet corn
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 8 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 cup (tea) of water
- Chopped green onions
Preparation Mode
- Season the steaks with garlic, salt and pepper.
- In a frying pan, heat half of the olive oil.
- Brown the steaks on both sides.
- Remove and set aside on a serving dish.
- In the same frying pan, add the remaining olive oil and the onion and sauté until golden.
- Add the tomato paste, corn, peas and mix.
- Add the water and cook, stirring constantly, over low heat for 5 minutes.
- Pour the sauce over the steaks and garnish with the parsley.
Mom’s Tips
Yields 6 servings.
Serve with white rice and baked potatoes.
