Ingredients

  • 1 tender ball
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 can of figs in syrup
  • Cloves

Preparation Mode

  1. Preheat the oven.
  2. Mix the honey mustard and butter and stir well.
  3. Make diamond or square cuts all over the tenderloin.
  4. Stick cloves into the joints of the cuts.
  5. Place on a baking tray and brush with the honey, mustard and butter mixture.
  6. Drizzle with the fig syrup.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour.
  8. Remove the aluminum foil and leave until golden, basting with the sauce that formed in the baking dish.
  9. Transfer to the serving dish.
  10. Decorate with figs.

Mom’s Tips

Know that tender is made with lean pork meat.

The tenderloin should not release liquid when pierced with a fork after roasting.

Yields approximately 20 servings.
