These are other Colombians arrested for riots in Miami during the Copa America final

In the United States, investigations and legal proceedings are progressing against the Colombians arrested for the riots at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami during the 2024 Copa América final. “She was thrown against a pole. She suffered bruises all over her left side. She was having a CT scan this morning because she has chest pain and can’t take a deep breath or laugh,” said Khristopher Ryan Salado, Isabel Quintero’s lawyer.

They were not allowed into Hard Rock Stadium and are now suing Conmebol and the operator of the sports venue for negligence.

“They didn’t have enough staff to check tickets, security, or control rings,” noted Khristopher Ryan Salado.

And while the lawsuits are moving forward, including two collective lawsuits by more than 30 people who were not allowed into the stadium despite having tickets, the legal proceedings against the 27 people arrested in the incidents at the Hard Rock Stadium are also moving forward.

”He was arrested for committing corporal assault against a law enforcement officer“, said a judge.

Both have immigration detention orders. Nine other Colombians, including Argemiro Ramírez, Dilan Parra and Brandon Poveda, are part of the 11 detainees who, after entering the country through the southern border, had been released on supervised release to defend their asylum cases.

Other Colombians such as Julián Jaramillo, accused of breaking and entering at a sports venue, were released on parole while their trial progresses.
