Finding the bean in the galette des rois is already a pleasure in itself, but it can be even more so if it allows you to win a trip, a precious jewel, and even gold! Discover the most beautiful Epiphany competitions that can transform a simple cake into a real treasure.
For the 2nd year in a row, the discount brand is renewing its galette des rois competition. From December 7, 2023 to January 14, 2024, the delicious frangipane king cakes will contain 60 winning beans, each accompanied by a voucher worth €1,000. Please note, this competition only concerns the 420 g frangipane pancake cooked on site, sold at €4.49.
To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the Parisian ready-to-wear brand Balzac has decided to pull out all the stops. First, if you go to the store every Saturday between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., you can enjoy a mini cake when you check out. For the creation of this pastry, the brand partnered with Léonie Bakery, a bakery in the 17th arrondissement. But that’s not all ! If you’re lucky, you might come across a special bean that will be your winning ticket to win a brunch for 2 people at Léonie’s as well as a Balzac surprise…
Who would have thought that a simple pancake could give you your next vacation? From January 6 to 28, 10 beans enameled with fine gold and numbered which were hidden in the frangipane pancakes and scattered among 63 Feuillette bakeries throughout France. The winners will win a stay in one of the 7 Center Parcs areas in France. To benefit from it, all they have to do is return the winning golden bean to the nearest Feuillette bakery.
For this edition, the Hugo and Victor house teamed up with Lorenz Baümer, one of the famous jewelers of Place Vendôme in Paris to imagine its diamond-shaped cake and 4 beans which are almost jewels in themselves. But that’s not all, one lucky person will be able to find a winning bean which will allow them to win a Bäumer Vendôme rose gold and diamond pendant.
For this 2024 edition, the Dalloyau house collaborated with the pop ready-to-wear and cosmetics brand Paul & Joe. In addition to having imagined a chewable cake in the shape of a cat, the Parisian caterer has also hidden 5 golden beans which will allow the lucky ones to win an exclusive selection of products and accessories signed Paul & Joe worth 450 €. Something to enjoy.
From January 2 to 29, 2024, the Comptoir national de l’or invites you to celebrate Epiphany by trying to win a real gold bar. In addition, no need to find the bean, just register when purchasing a cake in one of the 26 participating bakeries located throughout France.
