As FOCUS online reported at the weekend, there is now an agreement between FC Bayern and Tottenham Hotspur. The Athletic reported on Thursday that Spurs have accepted Bayern’s €110m offer. Bonus payments should be included in the total. The Munich team had previously failed with three offers to club boss Daniel Levy.

Now Kane has to decide whether to move to Munich. As Sport1 reports, the contracts are already being prepared. It is planned that Kane will make his debut in a Bayern jersey at the start of the Bundesliga on August 18th at Werder Bremen.

FC Bayern should offer Kane a mega salary

The Englishman has been reported to have been in a transfer agreement with Bayern for some time but is very happy under Tottenham’s new manager Ange Postecoglou.

Most recently, Kane had set a deadline for the clubs: the center forward wanted to have clarity about his future by Tottenham’s Premier League opener on August 13. Kane’s contract runs until 2024. The English actually wanted to extend their superstar, but the contract talks have been on hold for a long time. The “Spurs” are said to have now changed their mind to selling the striker so as not to lose him on a free transfer next summer.

According to The Athletic, Bayern are set to offer Kane an annual salary of £25m – that’s the equivalent of almost €29m and double what Kane is currently earning in London.

Kane would be the most expensive Bundesliga transfer ever

If the deal goes through, Kane would become the most expensive transfer in Bundesliga history. Lucas Hèrnandez, who switched to Bayern in 2019 for 80 million, has held this record so far.

After the past season, Bayern are desperately looking for a world-class center forward. Since the departure of Robert Lewandowski in the summer of 2022, this position has not been improved with the necessary quality. Kane, who has been scoring like an assembly line in England for years, should now close this gap.
