“As I mentioned during my discussions with President Zelensky [na sexta-feira] and other world leaders over the past few weeks, my “Peace Through Strength” program will demonstrate to the world that these horrific, deadly wars and violent conflicts must end,” Trump said.
He also considered that “millions of people are dying, and Kamala Harris is absolutely in no position to put an end to it.”
The Israeli prime minister, who arrived in Washington on Monday, is expected to deliver a speech to Congress on Wednesday and meet later this week with Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate for the presidential election after Joe Biden withdrew on Sunday.
On Thursday, he is also scheduled to meet with relatives of American hostages who remain held in the Gaza Strip by Hamas, according to the White House agenda.
