We categorically and with absolute vehemence reject this clownish and buffoonish act of despicable politicking,” indicates a statement read on state television by the Minister of Defense, General Vladimir Padrino.

Venezuelan authorities ratified military support for Maduro

“Let the entire world know, on January 10, 2025 we will ratify the irreducible commitment to Venezuelan democracy and recognize citizen Nicolás Maduro Moros as constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, re-elected for the period 2025-2031, whom “We, as our commander in chief, will solemnly swear loyalty, obedience and subordination,” he added.

“A total of 146 reviews (of cases) were requested and agreed on January 3, 2025, which added to those processed previously (…) give a total number of 1,515 releases,” the Public Ministry reported in a release.
