Ingredients

  • 125 grams of unsalted butter
  • 1 cup of fine rolled oats
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 ovo
  • 100 grams of chopped semi-sweet chocolate
  • ½ cup crushed walnuts
  • ¼ cup (tea) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Wheat flour

Preparation Mode

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  2. Prepare a non-stick or regular baking pan without greasing.
  3. In a bowl, mix the butter, egg, salt and oats.
  4. Add the sugar, nuts, chocolate, essence and yeast.
  5. Add the flour little by little, don’t overdo it, it should be enough to make a dough that doesn’t stick to your hands.
  6. Remove small portions of dough, shape into balls and place in the pan.
  7. Once they are all ready, flatten them with the help of a fork.
  8. Bake the pan and bake for approximately 35 minutes or until you notice that the cookies are firm and no longer soft.
  9. Remove the cookies from the pan and let them cool on a wire rack.

Mom Tips The ideal is to use chopped chocolate and not chocolate drops. Store the cookies in a can or closed jar. Approximate yield of 35 units.
