A 64-year-old woman was rescued by police after being attacked by a snake
python about 4 meters long and weighing 20 kilograms who began to strangle her with his body inside their home in southern Thailand, police sources reported on Monday.

The victim, identified as Arom Arunrot was washing dishes when he noticed something biting his leg and discovered that it was a python.who was strangling her with his body for about two hours.
The incident occurred on the night of Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in the Samud Chedi district of Samut Prakan province, located southeast of Bangkok, police sergeant Anusorn Wongmalee told EFE by telephone.
According to the video shared by the police, The woman can be seen sitting on the floor of a humble room with the python coiled around her waist, while officers tried to help her.
