Ingredients

  • 1 and ½ cups of popcorn corn
  • ½ cup (tea) butter
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • ½ cup (tea) sugar
  • ½ cup (tea) of Karo® corn glucose
  • 1 cup (tea) brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon of baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon of salt

Method and Preparation

  1. Grease a baking tray with butter and set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  3. In a pan, heat the spoons of butter, add the corn, cover and wait for the kernels to burst, moving the pan from time to time.
  4. In another pan, mix the remaining butter, sugar, glucose, brown sugar, bicarbonate, and salt until it melts and forms a syrup.
  5. Spread the popcorn on the baking tray and pour in the syrup.
  6. Bake for approximately 10 minutes.
  7. Let cool, thresh, place in bags and serve.
