Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped green beans
- 3 cups (tea) of boiling water
- 1 red pepper in thin strips (optional)
- 1 bunch of iceberg lettuce in thick strips
- 150 grams of diced bacon
- 4 tablespoons of lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- Salt to taste
Preparation Mode
- Cook the pod and pepper in boiling water for 5 minutes or until softened. Drain and reserve.
- In a frying pan, over medium heat, brown the bacon with the olive oil. Drain and reserve the bacon.
- In the same frying pan, over medium heat, add the lemon juice, mustard, pepper and salt.
- Mix, turn off the heat and set aside.
- In a salad bowl, distribute the lettuce, cover with the green beans and pepper.
- Spread the bacon over the top.
- Drizzle with the pan sauce.
- Serve.
Mom Tips
Peppers can be replaced with carrots.
