Check out how easy it is to make a bacon and green bean salad with a mouth-watering appearance and flavor!


  • 1 cup chopped green beans
  • 3 cups (tea) of boiling water
  • 1 red pepper in thin strips (optional)
  • 1 bunch of iceberg lettuce in thick strips
  • 150 grams of diced bacon
  • 4 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. Cook the pod and pepper in boiling water for 5 minutes or until softened. Drain and reserve.
  2. In a frying pan, over medium heat, brown the bacon with the olive oil. Drain and reserve the bacon.
  3. In the same frying pan, over medium heat, add the lemon juice, mustard, pepper and salt.
  4. Mix, turn off the heat and set aside.
  5. In a salad bowl, distribute the lettuce, cover with the green beans and pepper.
  6. Spread the bacon over the top.
  7. Drizzle with the pan sauce.
  8. Serve.

Mom Tips

Peppers can be replaced with carrots.
