Prepare a delicious meal! How about a steak that is enhanced and very easy to make?!

Ingredients

  • 6 sirloin or rump steaks
  • 1 can of drained mixed vegetables
  • 1 can of drained sweet corn
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 crushed garlic clove
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 8 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup (tea) of water
  • Chopped green onions

Preparation Mode

  1. Season the steaks with garlic, salt and pepper.
  2. In a frying pan, heat half of the olive oil.
  3. Brown the steaks on both sides.
  4. Remove and set aside on a serving dish.
  5. In the same frying pan, add the remaining olive oil and the onion and sauté until golden.
  6. Add the tomato paste, corn, peas and mix.
  7. Add the water and cook, stirring constantly, over low heat for 5 minutes.
  8. Pour the sauce over the steaks and garnish with the parsley.

Mom’s Tips

Yields 6 servings.

Serve with white rice and baked potatoes.
