Videos posted on social media show how the upper floors of the building were consumed by flames.
According to the emergency service in the east of England, cited by the BBC station, so far no victims have been reported.
At least 10 fire engines were sent to the scene, continuing with work to extinguish the fire, according to Bedfordshire Fire Brigade, who noted that 80% of the third floor of the car park was affected.
Luton is located approximately 50 kilometers north of London and is mainly used by ‘low cost’ airlines such as EasyJet or Ryanair.
