A New Hampshire state police said at a press conference that a gunman opened fire at a public hospital in the city of Concordor, killing one person.
Two people were injured and the shooter, who was not identified, died at the scene after being shot by police.
“There is no threat to the public, patients or hospital staff,” said New Hampshire police spokesman Mark Hall, without identifying the fatal victim.
Less than a month ago, 18 people were killed in a shooting in the neighboring state of Maine by a former soldier.
