Ahe Spanish authorities have already completed the identification of the 10 fatal victims of the fire that devastated a building in Valencia, Spain, last week.
According to the Spanish daily ABC, the Instruction Court number 9 of Valencia, in charge of investigating the case, received the results of the laboratory analyzes carried out by the scientific police and sent them to the Institute of Legal Medicine.
The court will also contact the victims’ relatives so that they can collect their personal items. After all formalities have been completed, the delivery of the remains to the families will be authorized for the celebration of the funeral.
Furthermore, the judge of the Court of Instruction number 9 authorized residents to return to their homes today to collect personal items that were saved and to remove vehicles parked in the garage. They will be able to enter all houses except one: the 86th floor of the 14-storey block where the flames originated.
It should be noted that the first inspections of the building indicate that what happened was an “electrical fault”.
