Dough Ingredients
- 1 and ½ cup (tea) wheat flour
- 100 grams of cold butter
- ½ cup (tea) sugar
- 1 tablespoon of water

Filling Ingredients
- 300 ml of milk
- ¾ cup (tea) sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (cornstarch)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
- 3 excited

- 3 finely sliced apples
- 1 lemon juice
- 1 and ½ cup (tea) sugar
- 50 ml of water
- 1 cinnamon stick
Dough Preparation Method
- In a bowl, place all the dough ingredients.
- Mix with your fingertips until you get a dough.
- Reserve in the fridge for 10 minutes.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough and line pans suitable for tartlets.
- Place in the oven at medium temperature to bake for approximately 15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Unmold.
Filling preparation method
- In a bowl, mix half the sugar with the egg yolks and cornstarch.
- In a pan, boil the milk with the other half of sugar.
- Turn off the heat and add the hot milk over the egg yolk mixture, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
- Return the mixture to the pan and cook over low heat until it thickens.
- Add the vanilla, mix and let it cool.
Preparation Mode Coverage
- Drizzle the apple slices with the lemon juice.
- In a pan, place the apple, sugar, water and cinnamon.
- Cook for approximately 10 minutes.
- Let cool.
Assembly
- Fill the dough with the cold cream.
- Distribute the apple slices on top.
- Decorate to taste
Mom Tips
You can decorate by sprinkling the edges of the dough with icing sugar.
The apple slices can be placed “lying down” or “upright”.
If you prefer, brush the entire tartlet with apple jam or honey.
The decoration can be made with mint leaves.
