Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 250ml warm milk
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • 40 ml of oil
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • 1 heaped tablespoon of margarine
  • 600 grams of wheat flour

Preparation mode

  1. Grease and flour a 30 cm round baking dish. Reserve.
  2. Weigh the wheat flour, place it in a bowl and set aside.
  3. In the blender, beat the first 6 ingredients.
  4. Place the mixture in the bowl of wheat flour and mix with a wooden spoon.
  5. Place mixture on a flat, floured surface and knead the dough enough to bind the ingredients well and not stick to your hands. If necessary, dust the dough with a little more flour. Avoid putting too much flour.
  6. Cover the dough and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  7. After that time, open the dough into a rectangle of about 30 cm by ½ cm thick.
  8. Cut the dough into strips of 4 and ½ cm vertically and horizontally to obtain several squares.
  9. Shape each square into balls the size of ping pong balls and place them on the baking sheet leaving a little space between balls.
  10. Cover with a cloth and let rest until doubled in size.
  11. Take to bake in preheated oven at 200 degrees C. until golden. Approximately 35 minutes.
  12. Remove, wait to cool down and unmold into a large dish.
  13. When serving, just detach the balls from each other.
