The products affected by this recall are Ooni brand pizza ovens, more specifically the Ooni Koda 12 Gas-fired models with reference 1002070399 and Ooni Koda 16 Gas-fired with reference 1002068675. These products were marketed from May 21, 2023 to July 20, 2023 in NOZ destocking stores throughout France. All lots are affected by this recall.
These pizza ovens feature risk of flashback, which may cause a fire. This is a lack of compliance with security requirements. Flashback is a dangerous phenomenon that can occur when using gas appliances. It can cause burns or a fire if flammable materials are nearby.
If you own one of these pizza ovens, it is imperative that you stop using it. You must return it to the point of sale where you purchased it. You will then be refunded the amount of your purchase.
