Did you pick a lot of blackberries and have leftovers? Make homemade jam. Check out how easy it is!

  • 1 kg of ripe blackberries
  • 1 kg of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of lemon juice

Preparation Mode

  1. Clean the blackberries and remove the stems.
  2. Place in a glass bowl, add the sugar and let it macerate. Preferably the day before.
  3. Place in a copper pan and add the lemon juice.
  4. Place over low heat and let cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove and strain through a sieve, separating the syrup from the fruit. Reserve the fruit.
  6. Return the syrup to the heat and boil for another 5 minutes.
  7. Remove, add the fruit and let it cool.
  8. Return the sweet to low heat and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  9. Remove and let cool.
  10. Repeat this operation two more times (remove the foam that forms during cooking with a slotted spoon).
  11. Place in sterilized jars while still hot.
  12. Cover only after it is cold.
