At any meal, a good farofa is always welcome! Delicious!


  • 200 grams of diced bacon
  • ½ cup grated carrot
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 can of drained green corn
  • ½ cup chopped pitted green olives
  • ½ cup seedless black raisins
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 cups of cassava flour
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped green chilli

Preparation Mode

  1. Over medium heat, heat a frying pan and sauté the bacon in its own fat until golden.
  2. Add the carrot, onion and sauté for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the olives, grapes, corn and butter.
  4. When the butter melts, sprinkle with flour and mix until smooth.
  5. Add the green scent, mix and pour into a dish.
  6. Serve decorated to taste.

Mom Tips

If you prefer, replace the cassava flour with crushed white or yellow corn flour for this recipe.

You can also add another ingredient such as chopped boiled egg or another ingredient of your choice.
