UA bus carrying dozens of migrants, most of them Venezuelan nationals, suffered an accident this Friday in southern Mexico. 17 people died and 15 others were injured.
Civil protection in the state of Oaxaca revealed that the bus was traveling on the highway, with 55 people on board, when it overturned on a curve, Reuters reported.
The Puebla Ministry of the Interior said that the 15 injured were transported to their hospitals, as the accident occurred close to the ‘border’ with the state.
The accident occurred at a time when many migrants are arriving at the border between the USA and Mexico, trying to cross Mexico by bus, in trucks or on board cargo trains, with this journey being considered dangerous.
