We always have leftover rice at home, so just use it and make delicious dumplings. It’s hard to resist them!
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cooked white rice
- ½ cup grated carrot
- ½ cup (tea) wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (cornstarch)
- ½ cup of milk
- 2 tablespoons of green scent
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- Oregano to taste
- 1 ovo
- Oil
Preparation Mode
- In a bowl, beat the egg well, add the margarine and mix well.
- Add the rice, carrots, wheat flour, cornstarch, milk, green chillies, yeast and oregano.
- Mix well.
- In a non-stick frying pan, heat the oil well.
- Fry the dumplings by spoonfuls.
- Place on paper towel.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
Mom Tips
If you prefer, swap the oregano for fine herbs.
