We always have leftover rice at home, so just use it and make delicious dumplings. It’s hard to resist them!


  • 2 cups of cooked white rice
  • ½ cup grated carrot
  • ½ cup (tea) wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (cornstarch)
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of green scent
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • Oregano to taste
  • 1 ovo
  • Oil

Preparation Mode

  1. In a bowl, beat the egg well, add the margarine and mix well.
  2. Add the rice, carrots, wheat flour, cornstarch, milk, green chillies, yeast and oregano.
  3. Mix well.
  4. In a non-stick frying pan, heat the oil well.
  5. Fry the dumplings by spoonfuls.
  6. Place on paper towel.
  7. Serve with lemon wedges.

Mom Tips

If you prefer, swap the oregano for fine herbs.
