Dough Ingredients

  • 1 cup (tea) of warm water
  • 1 envelope of granulated biological yeast
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar
  • ½ cup (tea) oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 and ½ cups (tea) of wheat flour

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 grated onion
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 4 cups of cooked and shredded chicken
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube, crumbled
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup (tea) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup fried diced bacon (optional)
  • 2 cups of grated mozzarella cheese
  • Oregano to taste

Dough Preparation Method

  1. In the water, dissolve the yeast.
  2. Add sugar, oil and salt.
  3. Add the flour little by little and mix with your hands until you get a smooth dough.
  4. Knead for 15 minutes and place in a greased baking dish.
  5. Cover with a damp cloth and let rest for 1 hour.

Filling preparation method

  1. In olive oil, sauté the onion and garlic.
  2. Add the chicken, chicken broth, season with salt and sauté.

Assembly

  1. Preheat the oven to medium temperature
  2. On a smooth, floured surface, stretch the dough with the help of a rolling pin until it is 0.5 cm thick.
  3. Cut into 10 cm circles and place them on a greased baking tray.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove and brush the pasta with the tomato sauce.
  6. Distribute portions of chicken, bacon, mozzarella and sprinkle with oregano over the pasta.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for approximately another 10 minutes.
  8. Remove and serve.

Mom Tips

You can use ready-made tomato sauce.
