Steak or chicken Parmigiana is the favorite dish of many Brazilians.


  • 5 chicken breast fillets
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup (tea) breadcrumbs
  • Zest of 1 lemon to taste
  • Oregano to taste
  • 5 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • Frying oil
  • 1 cup (tea) tomato sauce
  • 100 grams of grated mozzarella cheese

Preparation Mode

  1. Place the steaks between two sheets of plastic and beat with a culinary hammer to thin them.
  2. Season with pepper and salt.
  3. Preheat the oven to high temperature.
  4. Mix the breadcrumbs, lemon zest, oregano, pepper and salt.
  5. Dip the fillets in wheat flour, egg and seasoned breadcrumbs.
  6. In a pan, over medium heat, heat the oil.
  7. Fry the fillets little by little until golden.
  8. Drain on paper towel and transfer to an ovenproof dish.
  9. Drizzle with the sauce, sprinkle with mozzarella and oregano.
  10. Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the cheese melts.
  11. Serve.

Mom Tips

You can serve the chicken parmigiana with white rice or spaghetti.
