Ingredients

  • 40 grams of organic yeast
  • 580 ml of water
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 kg of wheat flour
  • 40 grams of powdered milk
  • 60 grams of margarine
  • 20 mg of sal
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 200 grams of chopped mozzarella cheese
  • 200 grams of chopped ham
  • Chopped green flavor to taste

Preparation Mode

  1. Grease and flour a large baking dish and set aside.
  2. Mix the cheese, ham, tomatoes, onions and green chillies. Reserve.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the flour with the powdered milk. Reserve.
  4. In a small bowl, place the sugar, yeast, 30 ml of water and mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture into the reserved flour and gradually add half the water.
  6. Add the margarine, the rest of the water and stir.
  7. Season with salt and knead the dough until it becomes elastic.
  8. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  9. Divide the dough into four and roll out with a rolling pin.
  10. Distribute the filling over the dough and roll it up like a roulade.
  11. Cut into two-inch-wide slices.
  12. On the baking tray, place the slices lying down leaving space between them.
  13. Bake for approximately 30 minutes.

Mom Tips

The recipe does not call for rest for the dough to rise but, if you prefer, after item 7, let the dough rest for 15 minutes. After item 12, let the dough rest for 30/40 minutes.

For parties, you can divide the dough into larger quantities and obtain smaller cold rolls.
