Ingredients
- 500 grams of puff pastry
- 1 cup of milk (tea)
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch (cornstarch)
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- ½ vanilla bean
- 6 egg yolks
Preparation Mode
- Place the egg yolks in a small bowl and set aside.
- Grease pie molds, a mold suitable for muffins or cupcakes.
- Line the bottom and sides of each cavity with puff pastry.
- In a pan, make a cream with the milk, cornstarch, sugar and vanilla bean.
- Pour part of this cream, little by little, beating constantly over the yolks to prevent them from cooking.
- Slowly transfer the egg yolks to the pan, stirring vigorously.
- Bring to the boil again, stirring constantly for 5 minutes until you get a very thick cream.
- Remove the vanilla bean.
- Fill the mold with this cream.
- Bake the pastries for approximately 20 minutes, or until the puff pastry and filling are golden.
