Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, these pastries are very popular. Delicious!


  • 500 grams of puff pastry
  • 1 cup of milk (tea)
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch (cornstarch)
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • ½ vanilla bean
  • 6 egg yolks

Preparation Mode

  1. Place the egg yolks in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Grease pie molds, a mold suitable for muffins or cupcakes.
  3. Line the bottom and sides of each cavity with puff pastry.
  4. In a pan, make a cream with the milk, cornstarch, sugar and vanilla bean.
  5. Pour part of this cream, little by little, beating constantly over the yolks to prevent them from cooking.
  6. Slowly transfer the egg yolks to the pan, stirring vigorously.
  7. Bring to the boil again, stirring constantly for 5 minutes until you get a very thick cream.
  8. Remove the vanilla bean.
  9. Fill the mold with this cream.
  10. Bake the pastries for approximately 20 minutes, or until the puff pastry and filling are golden.
