Ingredients 1st Option

  • 1 piece of picanha weighing approximately 1 kg
  • Wheat flour
  • refined salt

Preparation Mode

  1. Clean the meat leaving the fat.
  2. Spread fine salt over the entire piece of meat.
  3. Gently dredge in the wheat flour, covering all the meat well.
  4. Preheat the oven to a high temperature of 200ºC.
  5. Place in a roasting pan with the picanha fat side up.
  6. Place the baking dish in the oven, with the thickest part of the picanha facing the bottom of the oven.
  7. Bake for approximately 1 hour.
  8. Remove, slice and serve.

Mom’s Tip

After an hour in the oven, make a hole in the thickest part of the picanha with the help of a knife. If water runs, it is ready, if blood comes out, leave it for a few more minutes.

Ingredients 2nd Option

  • 1 piece of picanha weighing approximately 1 kg
  • 2 tablespoons of coarse salt

Preparation Mode

  1. Preheat the grill.
  2. Season the picanha with coarse salt.
  3. Place the picanha on the grill at a distance of 30 cm from the brazier (without flames).
  4. Leave 10 minutes on each side.
  5. The meat should be toasted and golden on the outside and still raw on the inside.

Mom Tips

When served, the meat should be sliced ​​into thick slices. Each slice must be passed over the grill for 1 minute on each side.
