Just because you have an allergy or intolerance to eggs does not mean you will be without chocolate dessert. Try this delicious mousse!


  • 500 grams of chopped milk chocolate
  • 1 box of cream
  • 1 envelope of colorless, flavorless powdered gelatin
  • 4 tablespoons of water
  • 1 and ½ cups of whipped cream
  • Sanitized Raspberries or Strawberries
  • Chocolate shavings (optional)

Preparation Mode

  1. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  2. Add the cream and mix.
  3. Separately, hydrate the gelatin in water.
  4. Dissolve the gelatin in a bain-marie and add it to the chocolate mixture.
  5. Lastly, add the whipped cream and mix gently with the help of a spoon.
  6. Distribute the mousse into individual glasses and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
  7. Decorate with the chosen fruit and chocolate shavings.

Mom Tips

The amount of cream is 200 ml.

Give preference to original and real whipped cream.

Milk chocolate can be replaced with semi-sweet chocolate. This way, the mousse will be less sweet.

Yields 8 servings.
