“I hate Taylor Swift”: Donald Trump after the singer’s support for Kamala Harris

Angry at the risk of losing thousands of voters, Former US President and Republican candidate for the White House, Donald Trump, has confessed his true feelings for music star Taylor Swift.

Why does Trump hate Taylor Swift?

“¡ODIO A TAYLOR SWIFT!”she wrote on her Truth Social network on Sunday, days after the pop megastar endorsed Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris in the November election. Although the all-caps post was not accompanied by commentary or explanation, the context was clear.

On September 10, just minutes after a debate between Trump and Harris, Taylor Swift told her millions of fans on Instagram that she would vote for Harris, calling her “talented, stable and strong.”

Celebrity endorsements rarely carry a decisive weight in an election, but Taylor Swift’s massive popularity is seen as one of a kind, with nearly 500 million followers on social media.

Donald Trump has been under fire lately, even from fellow Republicans, for his recent association with right-wing influencer and conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer, who has occasionally accompanied him on his campaign plane.

Loomer, 31, who believes some of the latest mass shootings in the United States were organized by Democrats, recently suggested, also without evidence, that Taylor Swift had entered into an “arranged relationship” with American football star Travis Kelce “to influence the 2024 election.”
