Mom Tips

If you can’t find Italian bread, use similar bread.

Take care when cutting the bread. Remember, everyone will take a delicious piece of the snack with their hands.

If you don’t like the onion flavor, replace the soup by mixing the green butter and oregano. You can also add a pinch of chimichurri seasoning.

If you prefer, you can add finely chopped, fried Calabrian sausage or finely chopped fried bacon.

Garnish with fresh rosemary or fresh basil.
