In the city of Rosario, Argentina, two nurses were arrested after being accused of drugging babies so that they could sleep during their night shift.

The complaint from a companion of the women set off alarms among the authorities. And the parents of the minors told this person that they suspected that the children were being sedated.

In March 2023, the Prosecutor’s Office raided the hospital where the women worked, where the necessary documentation and testimonies were collected to determine whether the minors were given medication that was not indicated.
