Dough Ingredients

  • 3 whites
  • 3 excited
  • 2 cups of sugar (tea)
  • 1 cup (tea) of orange juice
  • 3 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

Syrup Ingredients

  • 2 cups of orange juice
  • 100 grams of butter

Preparation Mode

  1. Grease and flour a pan and set aside.
  2. Mix the wheat flour with the yeast and set aside.
  3. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  4. In electric mixer, beat the egg whites.
  5. Add the yolks, sugar and beat for 5 more minutes.
  6. Add the orange juice little by little.
  7. Using a wooden spoon, add the reserved flour and mix gently.
  8. Pour the dough into the pan and bake for approximately 30 minutes.

Syrup Preparation Method

  1. In a pan, heat the orange juice.
  2. Add the butter until it melts completely.
  3. Remove the cake from the oven and pour over the syrup.
  4. Decorate with thin orange slices.
  5. Drizzle again with the syrup.

Mom Tips

You can use a round or rectangular shape measuring 30 cm x 22 cm.
