Ingredients

  • 2 cups of sugar (tea)
  • 3/4 cup milk (warm)
  • 2 tablets of fresh yeast
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 cups wheat flour (tea)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted peanuts (peeled)
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of margarine
  • 2 and 1/2 cups cornmeal (tea)

Preparation mode

  1. In a bowl, we are going to prepare the sponge by mixing half the sugar, half the milk, the yeast and the salt until obtaining a spongy texture.
  2. Add half the wheat flour, knead and let rise for 30 minutes.
  3. Separately, in a blender, beat the rest of the milk, the eggs, the peanuts, the remaining sugar and the margarine until obtaining a homogeneous mixture.
  4. In another bowl, mix the remaining flour with the cornmeal, add the mixture from the blender and add the sponge that has already grown. Mix.
  5. Cover with a cloth and let rise for another 45 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  7. Model polka dots, sprinkle with cornmeal and let it rest for another 25 minutes.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden.
  9. Serve.

Mother’s Tips

2 tablets of fresh biological yeast = 30 grams of yeast.

Approximate yield of 25 units.
