Do you prefer pepperoni or pepperoni sausage? Whatever your choice; the lasagna will be very tasty!

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • Pepperoni to taste
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 cans of tomato sauce
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • Salt to taste


  • 1 package of fresh lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups of grated mozzarella cheese
  • 4 cups (tea) of Catupiry┬« type cream cheese
  • 100 grams of grated parmesan cheese

Sauce Preparation Method

  1. Using pepperoni: In a pan, over medium heat, heat the oil and fry the onion until golden.
  2. Using the Calabrese sausage: In a pan, over medium heat, heat the oil and fry the onion and the Calabrese sausage until golden.
  3. Add the sauce, tomatoes, sugar, season with salt and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Turn off and set aside.
  5. Preheat the oven to medium temperature.
  6. In a medium ovenproof dish, alternate layers of sauce, pasta, sauce and cream cheese mixed with mozzarella.
  7. Repeat until you run out of ingredients, ending with sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, decorate with pepperoni or pepperoni sausage and bake for approximately 35 minutes.
  9. Serve.

Mom Tips

Pack of fresh lasagna noodles = 500 grams.

Pepperoni can be replaced with slices of Calabrian sausage.

Approximate yield of 8 servings.
