During the morning of this Friday, March 8, 2024, the National Transportation Safety Board of the United States reported that A United Airlines plane skidded off the runway at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas.
The Click 2 Houston portal reported that airport personnel indicated that the plane that was in trouble was a B-737.

The airline reported that “around 8 a.m. today, A United Airlines flight landed on a runway at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). As it exited the runway toward the gate, the aircraft left the sidewalk and entered the grass on runway 9-27. Fortunately, no one on board was injured and all passengers were transported safely to the terminal.”
One of the passengers who was on the plane shared with KPRC 2 how the occupants had to go down to the runway to wait for the arrival of the first aid team, this while the aircraft was tilted.
Although no passengers were injured, one person reported that the landing was soft, but he felt bumps due to the plane rolling. “I felt like getting a flat tire on a car,” he said.
Around noon this Friday, the National Transportation Safety Board of the United States reported through the social network “We sent a team to investigate the runway excursion of a United Airlines B-737 at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston.”
