A very tasty and easy-to-make pot of meat. Try it!


  • 600 grams of picanha in medium cubes
  • 1 cup dry red wine
  • 1 cup chopped carrot
  • 1 bunch of fennel
  • 2 and ½ cups of water
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of coarse salt
  • 1 and ½ cups of mushrooms (cut in half)
  • 1 beef broth cube
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • ½ cup (tea) of water

Preparation Mode

  1. In a bowl, mix the wine, carrot, fennel, water, garlic and salt.
  2. Add the meat, mix well and leave to soak for 1 hour.
  3. Strain and reserve the sauce.
  4. In a pan, over medium heat, heat the oil and fry the meat until golden.
  5. Add the mushrooms and fry for another 2 minutes.
  6. Add the reserved sauce, the flour dissolved in the water and the bouillon cube.
  7. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly for 10 minutes or until thickened.
  8. Serve immediately.

Mom Tips

If necessary, reduce or increase the amount of water.
