Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 5 crushed garlic cloves
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 900 ml of oil
  • 500 grams of washed pearl potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green chilli

Preparation Mode

  1. Clean and wash the chicken.
  2. Season with garlic, wine, pepper, salt and bay leaves.
  3. Let it taste for at least 2 hours.
  4. In the pressure cooker, add the oil and heat.
  5. Place the drained chicken breast side down and cover the pan.
  6. After the pressure starts, count 30 minutes.
  7. Cool the pan, check that there is no pressure and then open it.
  8. Turn the chicken to brown the other side.
  9. Add the already washed, whole and unpeeled potatoes.
  10. Cover the pan and leave for another 10 minutes after the pressure has started.
  11. Cool the pan, check that there is no pressure and then open it.
  12. Drain the excess oil from the chicken and transfer to a platter.
  13. Drain the potatoes on paper towel and season with salt and green chilli.
  14. Place around the chicken and serve immediately.
