This apple pie for a morning or afternoon snack is much loved by adults and children.
Ingredients
- 1 cup full of wheat flour
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- 5 eggs
- ½ liter of milk
- 1 glass of rum
- 4 apples
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Preparation Mode
- Grease a refractory pan with butter and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- In a deep bowl, sift the wheat flour.
- Add 3 tablespoons of sugar, the whole eggs and mix well.
- Add the milk little by little, mixing with a wooden spoon until you get a smooth dough.
- Add the rum and mix to obtain a pancake batter with a heavier consistency.
- Peel and thinly slice the apples.
- Then place it in the refractory shape, arranging it in layers and sprinkling each one with sugar.
- Cover the last layer with the dough and distribute small pieces of butter on top.
- Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the pie is golden and risen.
- Serve warm or cold.
