This apple pie for a morning or afternoon snack is much loved by adults and children.


  • 1 cup full of wheat flour
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 1 glass of rum
  • 4 apples
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

Preparation Mode

  1. Grease a refractory pan with butter and set aside.
  2. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
  3. In a deep bowl, sift the wheat flour.
  4. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar, the whole eggs and mix well.
  5. Add the milk little by little, mixing with a wooden spoon until you get a smooth dough.
  6. Add the rum and mix to obtain a pancake batter with a heavier consistency.
  7. Peel and thinly slice the apples.
  8. Then place it in the refractory shape, arranging it in layers and sprinkling each one with sugar.
  9. Cover the last layer with the dough and distribute small pieces of butter on top.
  10. Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until the pie is golden and risen.
  11. Serve warm or cold.
