O accident occurred at around 6:30 am local time in Punta Venado, when a tourist bus collided with a minibus.
The Public Security Secretariat reported that medical units from Costamed, two units from the fire department and a medical ambulance were sent to treat the twelve passengers of the minibus, which was transporting tourism workers and Mexican tourists.
Experts are investigating the incident to determine who was responsible, and excessive speed cannot be ruled out as the cause of the accident.
