With pesto, cream or tomato sauce: gnocchi are a delight for young and old alike. If we appreciate them for their softness, today we suggest you try a recipe to taste them in a new way. The secret ? Cook them in the Airfryer!

Indeed, forget the pan, this hot air fryer allows you to make them very crispy on the outside and ultra soft on the inside. And to make it even better, creator Lilly aka Food_lilly on Instagram shared her secrets for cooking them and also revealed her homemade pesto recipe. A real treat. Here’s how to do it.

For the pesto, you will need:

  • a few basil leaves
  • the juice of a lemon
  • about 50 g grated parmesan
  • a clove of pressed garlic
  • a drizzle of olive oil
  • a handful of pine nuts
  • sel
  • pepper

For the gnocchi you will need:

  • a packet of gnocchi
  • a drizzle of olive oil
  • a pinch of paprika
  • a pinch of garlic powder
  • sel
