Ingredients
- 1 and ½ cup cornmeal (tea)
- 1 tablet of fresh yeast
- 1 cup of water (warm)
- 250 grams of boiled and mashed sweet potato
- 2 cups wheat flour (tea)
- 1 cup (tea) of sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Butter for greasing
Preparation mode
- Mix the yeast with the water and 1 cup (tea) of cornmeal.
- Let rest for 10 minutes.
- Grease a baking dish with butter and set aside.
- Add sweet potato, flour, sugar, butter and mix well.
- Add salt and remaining cornmeal.
- Mix well to obtain a dough to model the buns.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
- Model the buns the size you want.
- Place them on the baking sheet, cover with a cloth and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Take them to the oven for approximately 40 minutes or until they start to gold.
