O Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said this Sunday that the United States and Europe “are getting tired” of the problems in Ukraine and the financial burden of supporting Kyiv.

“Both America and Europe are getting tired of the Ukrainian issue as such, of the Kyiv regime and, let’s say, the burden they carry. I’m referring to the financial support for the Ukrainian regime and the supply of weapons”, he said, in an interview to the journalist from the Rossiya-1 television channel, Pavel Zarubin, cited by Tass.

Supporting Ukraine is becoming an excessive burden for the West, Peskov added. “All of this is becoming an excessive burden at some point, which they are no longer able to carry,” he said.

According to the Kremlin spokesman, “this is why both politicians and economists [dos EUA] They get tired of the burden, of course.”

It should be remembered that Ukraine and Russia have been at war for more than a year and a half, since Russian troops invaded Ukrainian territory on February 24, 2022.

With media attention today focused on the worsening of tensions in the Middle East, the United States has said less and less about the war between Kyiv and Moscow.
